Dr. Andrea Whitmarsh

I want to warmly welcome you to the 2024-2025 school year! I am so grateful to be part of an outstanding school community full of amazing educators, families and students. 

I have proudly served in various roles during my 20 years in Greene, including Elementary School Principal, Director of Student Accountability and Achievement, Assistant Superintendent, and, most recently, Superintendent since 2013.
 
We are excited this year to build upon the progress we’ve made with our five-year strategic plan, Impact 2027, which is focused on providing our students with the academic and technical skills, knowledge, and training necessary for lifelong success. Our plan also prioritizes a safe and supportive learning environment for all students and staff that includes physical, social and emotional wellbeing.
 
We have so much to be thankful for across our division and here in Greene County alongside our wonderful community partners and friends. I’m so excited to see our students and staff shine once again this school year!
