Facilities Study School Board Update September 14, 2016
VMDO Architects' presentation to the Greene County School Board  on September 14, 2016 includes recommendations for defined projects resulting from the study.  Covering a long range master plan for the schools, multiple projects are provided with initial cost estimates and timelines.  
Facilities Study Board of Supervisors Workshop September 27, 2016 
On Sept. 27, 2016, VMDO Architects presented an overview of the facilities study process and project recommendations to a joint workshop between the Greene County Board of Supervisors and School Board.   
Facilities Study School Board Update October 12, 2016 
On October 12, 2016, VMDO Architects presented the needs based project prioritization plan for adoption by the School Board.

On Oct. 25, 2016, the Greene County School Board and Board of Supervisors met in a workshop to review the project prioritization adopted by the School Board and discuss the implementation of the highly prioritized projects.

Phase 1 Projects - Schematic Design - School Board Update May 10 2017 
On May 10, 2017, VMDO Architects presented a progress report on initial project work to date for the Phase 1 projects from the Facilities Study.  Included in the presentation were an overview of the findings from a traffic study of the Stanardsville Campus, a long range site master plan and initial schematic drawings for the Middle and High School projects. 

Schematic Design Cost Update to the School Board June 14, 2017   
On June 14, 2017, VMDO Architects presented updated costs projections based on the Schematic Designs for the Phase 1 projects.  Included in the presentation are comparisons of costs from the concept phase to the schematic phase and details of scope changes and construction market cost trends and implications.  Retiring Debt Overview Presentation 

Project Update and Cost Projections for Funding - Board of Supervisors July 11, 2017

On July 11, 2017, members of the Greene County School Board and Bryce Powell with VMDO presented an update to the Board of Supervisors on the Phase 1 projects with schematic design overviews and construction cost estimates based on those designs.  Included in the presentation is an overview of potential debt structuring for the project based on the cost estimates and the School Board requested that Board of Superviors move to go forward with pursing funding applications at their next meeting on July 25, 2017.
