      Blue Ridge Virtual Governor's School (BRVGS)

      Students apply in 8th grade and participate in the program 9th - 12th.

      Early College Program with PVCC

      Cohorts begin in 10th grade and students can earn an Associates Degree upon graduation. See the WMHS Counseling page for more information.
       

      Virginia Aerospace Science and Technology Scholars (VASTS)

      For 11th Grade Students (free program).

      Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth Talent Search

      For students 2nd - 8th grade gifted or very high achieving students.

      University of Virginia Saturday Enrichment Program

      For students K - 5th grade. 2 hour sessions for 5 Saturdays in January and February.

      National Youth Science Camp

      For students in 12th grade. 3 week residential experience in June and July, all expenses paid.

      Ferrum College Summer Enrichment Camp

      Residential camp for gifted and academically motivated students ages 9 - 13.

      Wesleyan Summer Gifted Program

      Two week residential camp for gifted students in grades 5 - 12.
